Sun Lodge, An Ascend Collection Hotel - Peru

The hotel was fine and the staff excellent, stunning location to Johnny Seesaw's restaurant nearby... visit-worthy in itself. Generally everything was very good, even so the bathroom was cold. The breakfast was fresh especially hot chocolate and scrambled eggs they served were outstanding. Thanks to a great service I had an amazing stay.

We liked this nice and perfectly fine hotel and stayed here for 1 night. The room with the king size bed. Bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast were superb and outstanding.

Had a fab 2 nights! The King Room was cozy, and Rob's service was next level-definitely a highlight. He was super helpful with everything and went the extra mile to. The bar area was chill, but the noise from the street sometimes got annoying at night.

The friendly staff were great, ensuring all my needs were met promptly, from assisting with check-in to accommodating my requests. The complimentary breakfast featured delicious homemade waffles with fresh syrup.

Inconsistent amenities and some noise from other guests.

Amenities were severely limited. The bar was closed, and the food options were nearly nonexistent, leaving us to wonder about our dining choices. Adding to the frustration, the lobby closed for half the night, and with no ice machines, grabbing a drink from the cooler in the lobby felt inconvenient. It was like spending money on just a room without the facilities or services you'd expect from a lodge.

The lodge has a great location right next to the slopes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall warmth of the place. The rooms could use some updates, and the breakfast selection was disappointingly basic.

The breakfast vibe was on point, especially those homemade waffles dripping with fresh syrup-absolute game changer! Plus, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. And can we talk about the rad mountain views? Just fine!

The bar scene? A bit of a letdown, drinks were mediocre and took ages, and don't get me started on that pizza-the tiniest personal size you can imagine. The noise from other guests was a bit much to handle.

I stayed in the Family Room and the view of the valley was nice after the rain. The room was clean, but it felt a bit cramped. The shower was decent, and the water pressure was okay, but the pillows were on the softer side, which might not suit everyone. It was a basic room with no real standout features, but I did appreciate the complimentary breakfast even though it was really simple.

The stay had its ups and downs. While the location was good and the staff were friendly, I was disappointed to find that many advertised amenities were closed during my visit. The noise from a large group made it hard to get a restful night's sleep. I did enjoy the view from my room despite the hotel's dated feel.

Recommend for a couple of nights

Clean room, friendly staff, with great pillows and a balcony to enjoy the sunset .

The room was cool and nice, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a microwave. The location is unbeatable and cute, next to two other ski resorts - bromley ski area and the mountains - right by Sun Mountain Express.
